Denali Intro

Welcome!

Denali Elementary is the oldest operating school in Fairbanks, having been established in 1951. Located in downtown Fairbanks, the original building was replaced in 2005 with new construction, right next to the original. It is primarily a neighborhood school with approximately 400 students and is enriched by its culturally and economically diverse population. 

As a Title 1 school, we receive additional federal funds for all core areas.  These funds help us provide supplemental academic support for our students, additional professional development opportunities, as well as additional parent involvement opportunities. 

Our school mascot is the panther and our school motto is:
